They delivered a healthy baby girl on August 2nd. Her name is Sophia and is 7 lbs 1 ounce, and is 18 inches long. We can't wait to see photos!! Welcome to the world, Sophia!

Welcome, "Hogs"....
To the class of 2005-2007 Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellows Blog! In the coming weeks we hope to get our act together in order to share our stories from the field with you (and with each other), as well as any other random thoughts that enter our minds (and with this group, you can expect ANYTHING).
We're a rowdy, fun, and wonderful bunch of people dedicating the next two years of our lives fighting to end world hunger. We're traveling all over the world, from Senegal to Mongolia, working with NGOs on a wide variety of projects.
We're passionate and curious, intellectual and over-stimulated, and looking to change the world. Come follow us on our journey, we hope you enjoy the ride!
